Gold Member Username: CblazeRock island, Tenesssee Us Post Number: 1180 Registered: Sep-07 | cvr's aint that bad,idk about the amp,it dont even have the model number on there |
Silver Member Username: LoudblazerEl reno, Ok Post Number: 258 Registered: Apr-07 | there feedback is good. how do they compare to the price of cvr's? |
Silver Member Username: LoudblazerEl reno, Ok Post Number: 259 Registered: Apr-07 | their feedback is good. how do they compare to the price of cvr's? |
Silver Member Username: LoudblazerEl reno, Ok Post Number: 260 Registered: Apr-07 | thats what i was kinda wondering, and 1600 wrms seem like too good of a deal for 230 shipped new. |
Gold Member Username: CblazeRock island, Tenesssee Us Post Number: 1183 Registered: Sep-07 | that amp might only be 1800 watts max, seems to be good to be true |
Silver Member Username: LoudblazerEl reno, Ok Post Number: 261 Registered: Apr-07 | ya, they proably added a 1 in front of the 600 rms. |
Gold Member Username: CblazeRock island, Tenesssee Us Post Number: 1186 Registered: Sep-07 | thats why i dont trust amps & subs off ebay, they can lie & u cant do anythang about it,ill try to help you out.what is your budget for a amp?and how many watts ya want, and at what ohm |
Silver Member Username: LoudblazerEl reno, Ok Post Number: 262 Registered: Apr-07 | well i dont have the cvr's but i think thats what i want and i want an amp that doesnt require electrical upgrades for around 200 or so. i was thinkin a hifonics 1200. i was also thinkin about a stock 18 SSD but i have never heard FI subs. i want spl. |
Gold Member Username: CblazeRock island, Tenesssee Us Post Number: 1188 Registered: Sep-07 | cvrs are not really much of spl subs imo,i got a set of the 12's.if ya want a hifonics amp forget the 1200d,i will leave you a link for the 1606d for 250 shipped, brand new.its rated at 1600 rms watts.if you dont got the cash save a lil.dont get the ssd subs.they have the famous tinsel lead failure.a btl from fi would be nice but they require 2000watts.whats the max price for the subs? http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=16368 |
Silver Member Username: LoudblazerEl reno, Ok Post Number: 263 Registered: Apr-07 | 250 for sub(s), would i need electrical upgrades for the 1606 hifonics. |

Gold Member Username: CblazeRock island, Tenesssee Us Post Number: 1192 Registered: Sep-07 | u got a 105 amp alt,it might be ok.if you have any bad voltage drops or light dimming probs.just turn down the gain on the amp and u will be fine.for the sub get a hdc315& make sure u get a dvc 2 ohm one to put a 1 ohm load on the amp..and pop that sub in a ported box tuned to 38 hz with 4 cubic feet of airspace since ya want spl. http://www.audioque.com/aq/HDCSeries.htm |
Silver Member Username: LoudblazerEl reno, Ok Post Number: 267 Registered: Apr-07 | i dont turn up my system a lot now, what is the price of that sub? will that be louder than 2 15 cvrs or 1 15 L7? |
Silver Member Username: LoudblazerEl reno, Ok Post Number: 268 Registered: Apr-07 | never mind i found it, sorry. |
Silver Member Username: Nickyp0219Post Number: 264 Registered: Jun-06 | yea i wouldnt buy that amp, i think i had the exact same one, mine was a RF P6002 that had a max of 1800watts, but was 600 watts rms. I could be wrong but look up the P6002 and see if it matches that it looked the same to me. |
Silver Member Username: LoudblazerEl reno, Ok Post Number: 269 Registered: Apr-07 | ya, that would be the best deal ever a 1600 watt rockford amp for $230. so, will the audioque hdc315 get louder than kicker? |
Gold Member Username: CblazeRock island, Tenesssee Us Post Number: 1193 Registered: Sep-07 | no but kicker l5 & l7's are total junk, now u would be happy with 2 of the 15 cvr's.2 15's are gonna get loud if they are meant for spl or not,i got 2 12 inch cvrs on 1000 watts, and they hit pretty hard.get the cvrs |
Silver Member Username: LoudblazerEl reno, Ok Post Number: 270 Registered: Apr-07 | well the cvr's are 240 shipped and the audioque is 280 shipped. people at my school have kicker and i kinda know what they are like. i have plenty of room so ill get the cvr's. i just have to sell my system first. thanks for all your help chris! |
Gold Member Username: CblazeRock island, Tenesssee Us Post Number: 1195 Registered: Sep-07 | np just make sure u port them since u got the room, and they will be crazy loud |
Silver Member Username: LoudblazerEl reno, Ok Post Number: 271 Registered: Apr-07 | ya, deffiently ported. thanks again. |
Gold Member Username: camBC Canada Post Number: 1439 Registered: Nov-06 | I'd go MAW... W/e, though, it's your decision. |
Gold Member Username: CblazeRock island, Tenesssee Us Post Number: 1196 Registered: Sep-07 | maws would work to |
Silver Member Username: SomedonniedudeIllinois United States Post Number: 630 Registered: May-07 | That rockford amp is rated at 600wrms, will do about 700wrms. Definetly not worth 230. That amp they posted in the picture war a 4channel amp too, so it wont be that big. I'm not saying they are bad amps, but you can buy that amp cheaper, ore something better for that price. |
