Kicker is a better sub because the subs are designed better, using better quality parts. The sub will perform better, and last longer than anything from power acoustik. Without going into pages of typing about specifics, there are a lot of factors to building a quality subwoofer, including but not limited to, voice coil diameter, and copper quality, coil cooling and design, driver mass, magnet structure (not just weight, but material, magnetic field strength, and matching that to the rest of the speaker), materials used in construction, overall design, linearity at peak excursion, driver damping, and plenty more. Many things cheaper companies don't pay as much attention to during driver design. |

Sony lables there products at high wattages for a reason. When you go to a store and see a RF 200W RMS sub for $75 and you see a Sony 700W sub for $30 you automatically go for the sony because its more powerful. People who go into the store who know what to buy go for RF because they know the QUALITY and that its all around good. People who buy JL will never need to buy anything else because they last and last. If you buy sony and other, who LOOK just as good you will be buying new car audio things every 2 weeks. All audio companys over-rate there products to suit buyer demands but some like Sony, Power Acoustic and Audiobahn way over rate theres to esenally 'throw off' the buyer into thinking that there are getting more bang for there buck! But really there not! Kicker is better Quality than Power Acoustic even though they look the same! |

It also guarantees customer satisfaction. |
