Hi Alan,
Look for the shock sensor that is mounted probably anywhere near the steering column with a tie wrap.It has an adjusting knob that should be turned counter clockwise to put the sensitivity to a lower level. That is if there are no additional sensors installed. The Arrow 5
use to have only the shock sensor 504 C .

I have just been searching for ages about this myself and come across this topic. The proximity sensor *is* an option, however it is not made clear anywhere how to adjust the sensitivity on it (this model does not feature the remote adjustable sensitivity).

Does anyone know how the proximity sensor can be adjusted on an install with the arrow 5? Thanks in advance.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, just been searching desperately for this info for days and days and this is my last hope

After some more searching I think I may have found the answer on the 508d proximity sensor here http://www.directeddealers.com/manuals/ig/accessories/2508111_508D_Installation_ Guide.pdf

Annoyingly it doesn't appear that the system will go from warn away, to full alarm if someone stands too close to the car for too long.
