New member Username: Foxbiker529aolcomPost Number: 4 Registered: Dec-07 | i cant really afford anything else right now. i dont really need the best sub out there. the reason im lookin at these two subs, is because i only have a 400 watt amp, so i cant go with subs that will handle alot of power. i also have to stay with 10 inch for now because, that is the size box i have |

Platinum Member Username: BestmankindIM THE REAL SLIM SHADY Post Number: 16349 Registered: Oct-05 | the p1 i heard was in a sealed box. btw MS i found a perfect use for the amp you gave me. my friend is going to give me his power inverter or whatever you call that. i have a set of coaxial speakers and an old pioneer hu laying around. ima make a little box and run the speakers off the amp you gave me. lol. |

Platinum Member Username: BestmankindIM THE REAL SLIM SHADY Post Number: 16351 Registered: Oct-05 | oh you need a battery as well? thanks for telling me. its going to sound good for home audio. |
Gold Member Username: Nd4spd18Northwest PA Post Number: 4975 Registered: Jul-06 | Haha I'm glad you found a good use for the amp How many amps is the power supply you're getting? Also it needs to be 14v but I think you knew that....... This electrical system that you're building works the same way as the one in your car, its just smaller. The battery is used to filter the current, and keep things going during peaks if the supply can't produce enough power. Ya know how its bad to run you car just off the alt with no battery in it, the same applys here. |
