I was wondering how I should go about wiring my rear 6x9's that are to be on the same cannel as my sub (6x9's on rear deck power, sub hooked up using rear pre outs). I want to be able to turn the bass up but I also want to minimize distortion to the 6x9's. Any suggestions?

i think people recommend wiring in some bass blockers on the 6 X 9's. search threads for specific specs, or someone will recommend an exact one to get. I've read you can get them in car stereo shops.

anyway, this way, you can crank up the bass all you want, and only the sub will be effected.

Yeah, bass blockers will work. I think 150 hz is your only option, unless you look around. If you can find 100 hz it would be a little better.

I actually went out & bought a Sony MP3 deck with Sub out so I no longer have to worry. Ya, I know Sony aint so hot, but it was only $199 & the next best thing with sub out was $329 for a Clarion.
