Wednesday, December 26, 2007 - 00:27 GMT When you mount a sub, you have to make a gasket around it. Weather seal tape from the hardware store works great.

Thursday, December 27, 2007 - 18:32 GMT so whats the verdict charles? did you seal it better? M.S. that is a great idea. but if you cut the hole better, you wouldn't have air leacking out the side.

Saturday, December 29, 2007 - 17:34 GMT ok well i did two things. 1. i made the whole bigger. 2. i cut some of the vinal off that goes into the semi flushed area and now theres no leaking... it sounds really sq!!!! lol but i need more power now!!!! AHH!!!! i think the car audio fever of needing more power is starting to hit me. hopefully i dont get too addicted.... not sure if i can afford it.

Saturday, December 29, 2007 - 17:36 GMT oh and btw the first night i put it in, the glue wasnt dry all the way yet... so i couldn't test it.. then my car died... so i only noticed when i got my car back and got it installed... plus i think it was the vinal that was doing it...

Saturday, December 29, 2007 - 17:40 GMT "gain is like near 50%....." Fifty percent of what it should be? Telling us how far you've moved the gain pot doesn't tell us much. You need to set your gain properly.

Saturday, December 29, 2007 - 17:43 GMT yea it really does... like my bro flew down for the holidays and he hasnt ever heard any sub like this.. so i put him in my car and turned it up and even when i had it loud it sounded good... but i guess 700 watts for this sub isnt loud... but my bro kept on complaining how his ear drums were numb after that.. cant wait for more power
