Saturday, December 22, 2007 - 00:58 GMT Look if you want punchy bass but all around good frequency response, go sealed. On the other hand a ported box will be tuned to a certain frequency. That means it will peak out (be louder) around that frequency and you will lose the punchiness of the sealed box. Typically if you listen to rap or music with lower frequency bass lines you should go ported tuned 30-40hz.

Saturday, December 22, 2007 - 01:04 GMT im guessing you mean a BM sub .. id say around 4 to 4.5 cubes at 32-34 hz would be ideal 15 inch woofers for under 300 well flip a coin .. theres about 10 solid woofers out their capable of supplying enough output to fit ur needs audioque hdc3 rd audio sonance/elite FI q/bl DD 2500/3500 Soundsplinter Rl-p Stereo Integrity Mag used to name a few
