New member Username: GeezyAdamsville, Georgia U.S.A. Post Number: 3 Registered: Dec-07 | Rms @ 14.4V 4 ohm=2500w, 2 ohm=4000w, 1 ohm= 5000 w, Rms@ 16V(this is the output voltage im trying to get) 4 ohm=3500w, 2 ohm=6000w, 1 ohm=7000w also it's a class X amp?? |
Gold Member Username: Nyyfan13Fi SSD USA Post Number: 7644 Registered: Jul-06 | Definitly gonna need a HO alt. Biggest you can find. The cap isnt really needed at all. Running that amp on a stock alt will not bring good results to your car or your equipment....in other words, your equipment will break. |
New member Username: GeezyAdamsville, Georgia U.S.A. Post Number: 4 Registered: Dec-07 | I seen one on ebay with 200 amp is that good or keep searching |
Gold Member Username: Nd4spd18Northwest PA Post Number: 4608 Registered: Jul-06 | That is good, but you will never get those 16v numbers on a 14 volt electrical system (duh). |
New member Username: GeezyAdamsville, Georgia U.S.A. Post Number: 5 Registered: Dec-07 | how do i get 16 volts |
Gold Member Username: Nd4spd18Northwest PA Post Number: 4615 Registered: Jul-06 | Custom dual alternator setup. Way more money than it's worth (thousands), especially for a low quality amp like ma audio. |
New member Username: GeezyAdamsville, Georgia U.S.A. Post Number: 6 Registered: Dec-07 | o.k. well what subwoofers do u suggest to put on it |
Gold Member Username: camBC Canada Post Number: 1304 Registered: Nov-06 | I think a better question would be: "How much money are you willing to spend on this?" |

New member Username: GeezyAdamsville, Georgia U.S.A. Post Number: 7 Registered: Dec-07 | I just e-mailed someone about the dual alternator setup and they said around $949.00 so im going to go ahead and get it and on the speakers i'll spend around $2,000- 3,000.00 |
Gold Member Username: camBC Canada Post Number: 1306 Registered: Nov-06 | Wow, sounds good. If you got the money, have fun. |

Gold Member Username: camBC Canada Post Number: 1308 Registered: Nov-06 | You mean SPL comps? Talk to /\/\ike about his RDs, they might be what you are looking for. However, if I was you, I'd talk to Pete Kulicki. Especially with that kind of money. The box is the biggest factor. http://www.hexibase.com/ |

Gold Member Username: camBC Canada Post Number: 1311 Registered: Nov-06 | Mike's a guy on this forum. He's cool. I bought my amp from him. Pete Kulicki designed for Team Toxic Bass, I believe. He gets really in-depth when it comes to designing, and seems to really know his acoustics. Do some reading on his site, hexibase.com. He's got some really cool articles. |

Way more money than it's worth (thousands), especially for a low quality amp like ma audio." Not only alternators but some that can put out 16volts or have an external and adjustable voltage regulator. "i just don't want my lights to dim so i going with the kinetik 2400 amp battery, and the 40 farad cap in the back, the stinger 220 amp alternator and the die hard battery in the front is that good any more suggestions?" How much are you paying for that Stinger alternator? I know they're expensive... |
Gold Member Username: Nd4spd18Northwest PA Post Number: 4643 Registered: Jul-06 | No capicator, doesn't help. Yes you have use an isolator if you run 2 different batteries. |
Bronze Member Username: GeezyAdamsville, Georgia U.S.A. Post Number: 13 Registered: Dec-07 | im paying 400 for the alternator |
Gold Member Username: Th3pwn3rPost Number:... Post Number: 6318 Registered: Jul-06 | Oh, that isn't too bad for a Stinger alternator, I've seen much higher prices for them. |
