Also theres a big block of foam like 2x4ft and 2" thick at home depot near the roofing section. I used that for top and bottom. |

Platinum Member Username: WingmanaliveA pic is worth 1000 posts!! Post Number: 11758 Registered: Jun-06 | It can be a pain but I've learned to save the carton the sub comes in. I throw it up in the attic or someplace. Who knows better how to ship a sub than the manufacturer? Assuming you buy it new. |

Email Post Number: 4300 Registered: Nov-05 | throw a piece of 1/2" MDF on the bottom of the box under the motor.. then over that line foam.. pool noodles w/e.. then finish it up like i boxed up the subs i sold you since the sub is heavy i'd get a slightly larger box and line it with foam.. you can get sheets of it from home depot or lowers.. and well box you box if the boxes you use are not double/triple walled be sure to thicken the insides before boxing.. or just get some good boxes from the start |
Gold Member Username: BasssquaredKansas Post Number: 1675 Registered: Nov-06 | well i just did what paul said and used the original box since i did have that sub brand new i just added some bubble wrap and a lot and lot of swimming noodles so it should be ok and i insured that thing for 600 dollars so it should be good ;) |
Gold Member Username: FrkkevinResonant Engineering..., Fort Worth... Email Post Number: 4304 Registered: Nov-05 | yea.. i forgot you had the original box.. i would have just boxed the original inside a box lined with foam |
Gold Member Username: BasssquaredKansas Post Number: 1676 Registered: Nov-06 | shipping ended up being 35 dollars though :P |
