Gold Member Username: HdubbTeam Revolution Post Number: 3179 Registered: Nov-04 | whats your range? and how much power do you plan on putting to them? |
Silver Member Username: Jesse59672OKLAHOMA Post Number: 817 Registered: Feb-07 | the punch line aren't bad subs. they handle probably twice the recommended rms power, and get quite loud. I actually tried two p2's tuned lower and they didn't get very loud around mid 30's. was dissapointed. not bad subs sealed though |
Silver Member Username: CblazeRock island, Tenesssee Us Post Number: 788 Registered: Sep-07 | 3 15's wont have a prob hiting hard |
Silver Member Username: Jesse59672OKLAHOMA Post Number: 819 Registered: Feb-07 | i got a legal 144.9 on two p2 12's in a sealed box if that says anything. its all in the install/car |
Silver Member Username: CblazeRock island, Tenesssee Us Post Number: 789 Registered: Sep-07 | "its all in the install/car" bingo |
Silver Member Username: CblazeRock island, Tenesssee Us Post Number: 790 Registered: Sep-07 | i would put 1700-2000 clean non clipping watts to 3 of them |
Gold Member Username: 420alldaylongPost Number: 3015 Registered: Sep-06 | Yes three 15" RF P3's will bang hard but the question is how long will they last. Budget for subs? |
Bronze Member Username: Epidemic_watClovis, California U.S. Post Number: 33 Registered: Jun-07 | around 350 to 400 i just wanted something i could be heard from a distance ? how about four 12'' pioneer 1200 watts maxx? its going to go into a chevy truck cut through. and no amp yet. i was told if i wanted to be heard then go with 15'' subs? |
Silver Member Username: Jesse59672OKLAHOMA Post Number: 832 Registered: Feb-07 | if you have 400 for subs, just go with two m5 maw 15's. shouldn't be disappointed. i don't know if they get too loud tuned low, but great budget subs. |
Gold Member Username: CtmikeCt. Post Number: 5548 Registered: Feb-06 | why you want to be heard from a distance? want you're ride to stand out to thieves? in high school still i take it? also, never look at max power ratings, always the rms. and 15"s isn't the only thing that can make you be heard from far away. and what amount of power do you plan on running? meaning you sticking with your stock charging system or you upgrading it also? |
Bronze Member Username: Epidemic_watClovis, California U.S. Post Number: 34 Registered: Jun-07 | no amp yet and im in the middle of upgrading the charging system. |
Gold Member Username: CtmikeCt. Post Number: 5551 Registered: Feb-06 | so how much power you want to run? post an estimate so it'll help narrow down the selection. |
Bronze Member Username: Epidemic_watClovis, California U.S. Post Number: 35 Registered: Jun-07 | probably 2000 watt amp ? |
