the plexiiglass slab will fit directy on top of the four walls you see and will be hinged so i can open if any adjustments need to be made. holes will be drilled in the side of the MDF wall for wiring and fan placement

Don't forget about the vents. You might also want to install a quiet computer fan to keep things cool during hot summer days.

so long as there is some type of air flow you should be good, although I would prob over do it and do two and two

make sure you "grind/sand" at an angle and don't do just one spot relentlessly, for obvious reasons.

you should nail/drill right after gluing, the nails and screws are to hold it together while the glue dries.

if you're gonna make an amp rack that pretty...why not mount it infront of the sub(s) so you can see it when you open the trunk?

you think tht would be better? i was kinda trying to be one of those guys tht when someone asks you what you have in trunk you tell them dont worry about it just know it pounds. but i think ill go with you plan but damn tht means i coulda used alot more space as the base board. matter fact nah i want it to behind the subs i want to be able to see it from inside.plus i got the wood alreadii cut and stuff it would be a major pain to redo all of it since i have sh1tty tools. i just nailed it up thanx for tht tid bit of info theives.

don't forget to carpet/paint that MDF before mounting your amp so it doesn't look like sh!t. also you should use some neon light bars on that rack. it would look nice.

Clunky dull neons ftl.
Bright @ss LEDs FTMFW!
Looks good so far man, I dont exactly get the part about mounting hinges to the plexieglass, but I guess I'll just have to see. I got allot of work to do to my car in the next month. Going to start a build log very soon.

^it's so he can open it like a door, and do easy adjusting if necessary. except the "door" will probably open up instead of to the sides...

etc, etc

now I'm seeing

Reece Brassler
Reece Brassler
Reece Brassler
Thieves
Thieves
Thieves
Thieves
Reece...

etc, etc..
