with sound on, if or when my lights start going weaker, would turning the volume down improve or get the lights back to normal?
sounds kinda dumb but please help me

If you're saying your lights are dimming, then yes turn the volume down.
You can also upgrade to high output alternator and that will get rid of your dimming lights.
