components definately sound better and have more tuning capabilities. coaxials are mainly used for your rear stage. huge difference in sound.

yep, if you've got the money, definitely get components. components separate the tweeter and mid from each other. in a coaxial, they're all in one piece. components are much better. anyone who's serious about their sound goes with components.

any advice for mounting the tweeter, and where to put the crossover? I've never had components before, thanks for the input.

depends how fancy you wanna get. you can mount the tweeters in the stock location where your current tweeter is. or you could mount in the a-pillar. there's tons of options. just look around a bit. the crossover is typically mounted inside the door panel.

It's all in the set up.

Components are great, but if you're going to half do it or just want to plug and play coaxials will be a better choice.

Just read about braxials on CDTs site... wow. They got some great sh!t over there.
