Silver Member Username: Yukhui3 15 AA Havocs, Memphis 4kw!! Post Number: 791 Registered: Jan-06 | You ~may~ find your system a lil bit louder with the subs facing the rear of your car. Worth a try at least.. |
Bronze Member Username: Blaze_upPost Number: 14 Registered: Nov-07 | the subs are kenwood KFC-W3514DVC 1500watts each, the xplod amp is giving each one 600 watts i think. dont know bout the rms. they do sound louder facing the rear but the bass is a lot cleaner face in, not top of the range but they they do sound insane! can any1 fill me in on what class d technology is? |
Bronze Member Username: Blaze_upPost Number: 15 Registered: Nov-07 | the amp is a sony xplod xm1s by the way, ment to be powerful for there laughable size. |

Bronze Member Username: Blaze_upPost Number: 16 Registered: Nov-07 | Cheers BernyMac, i guess class d is the way to go for powering subs. |
Gold Member Username: CtmikeCt. Post Number: 5443 Registered: Feb-06 | looks clean at least and probably only cost you about $200 or so? and to let you know, at most your subs are seeing about 250w each, at most. which is good since your subs are rated at 190wrms each. good tip for you to learn, always go off RMS and never 'max' or 'peak' power ratings. |
Bronze Member Username: Blaze_upPost Number: 17 Registered: Nov-07 | $200?!?! i wish, the amp was $600 and $300 for each sub. thats australian money though. the peak power is only for a short burst ay? and is 250w a good amount to power em or should i be looking at upgraging? |
Bronze Member Username: Igor_xxxPost Number: 31 Registered: Sep-07 | That subs are not 190rms each, they are 380wrms each.see with your own eyes if you dont believe me http://www.kenwood.eu/products/car/speakers/component/KFC-W3514DVC/details/ |
Bronze Member Username: Blaze_upPost Number: 18 Registered: Nov-07 | what do you think of the subs? good ones? and what amp would you recomend to have em poundin? |
Bronze Member Username: Igor_xxxPost Number: 32 Registered: Sep-07 | a friend of mine had one of these subs and he had it powering with 500rms at 2ohm and the sub never blow or damaged and hitt very hard for the money.believe me they can take more then 250w |
Bronze Member Username: Blaze_upPost Number: 19 Registered: Nov-07 | sweet, thanks Igor Stojcevski time for a new amp i think |
Bronze Member Username: Igor_xxxPost Number: 33 Registered: Sep-07 | No problem just dont't push them to the max if you run them around 500rms each.they can take it but who knows....gave them 400rms each.you know what i mean right? |
Bronze Member Username: Blaze_upPost Number: 20 Registered: Nov-07 | yeah i know what ya mean. |
