Sunday, December 02, 2007 - 00:22 GMT Should I get (2) AudioQue HDC3 12s, (2) FI Q 12s, (2) RE SX 12s, or (2) FI BL 12s. I will be tuning to around 27-29hz. I like it low and loud.. Its going to be running on a MTX 92001 (3kwrms @ 1 ohm). Any suggestions?

Sunday, December 02, 2007 - 00:33 GMT the hdc3 12 is ok on the bottom end but not super tight tuned at 35 hz in a 2.5 cubic foot box they are very punchy though on the upper end and my bro is using the mtx 92001 on two of those subs ad the birth sheet says 3829 rms on a 300 amp altrnator and a optima yellow top and voltage drops to 12.2 volts to 12.6 volts ......for what you want out of those choices id get the RE's

Sunday, December 02, 2007 - 00:54 GMT if you wanna tune that low....im not sure DD would be very well suited for you since DD recommends tuning to 40hz for their subs....

Sunday, December 02, 2007 - 01:06 GMT Out of the subs you listed, Fi Qs are the only way to go for tuning that low. DDs need to be tuned higher, and the SX and BL are more SPL subs. And get a different amp unless you bought the MTX already.

Sunday, December 02, 2007 - 01:30 GMT I don't like MTXs quality....... have seen several of their amps that dont produce a clean signal at rated power. But if you already have it then don't worry about it

Sunday, December 02, 2007 - 01:54 GMT the 92001 is CEA 2006 rated for less than 0.1% THC. it sounds really well in my opinion and it destroys my orion in output and being distortion free.
