He would need a Dual 1 or dual 4 sub to run it at 2ohms if you plan on strapping those amps.

where can you get prices on dd stuff without calling up the dd people?

^Nope. DD is sold in shops only. If you want DD you have to either go to a car audio shop or buy direct from DD.

when they start off yea they are mostly sold only in stores or by the company but over time they do start to mainstream

like i remember when i bought my memphis mojo i couldnt find it anywhere but stores

now sonicelectronix gots them for sale on their site

That's the problem with things. These days companies only care about themselves, they're only trying to fill their own pockets. DD is protecting their dealers and helping them make money by only selling to shops and selling direct(Usually at a higher cost) what DD does is what all car audio companies should but they want to make more money so they sell online. You have to consider the amount of money it costs to run a shop, rent, heat, electric, there's lots of over-head expense and the dealer has to pay all of that before he can even put food on his own table. It's very hard for car audio shops to make it these days and if everyone sells online for cheaper than what a shop can sell all shops would shut down unless they charged a sh1t ton for labor. Because nobody would go to a shop and pay 200 dollars for a sub when you can go online and get it for 100. What DD does for shops is great and I wish more companies would do things that way.

i know in my area only people who work at shops know about dd and treo and all these other brands you guys love

on the dd site the closest place to get a sub is like 80 miles away from me
