Ive got a small budget, so i know there is better, but this is what i got for my price range.

Duel alpine Type R's d4 with Hifonics bxi 1606D.

Im basically wondering if i would need to go with 2 ohmed type r's or the d4's. Im also wondering if this is an overall good setup in which i wont have much porblems with.

I dont know much about this stuff, thats why im turning to you guys for support.

Thanks Guys.

this picture should help you:
http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=2&I=42

use the first picture....it shows how to wire 2 dual 4 ohm subs to a 1 ohm load for your amp.

btw, how big is your stock alt?
