Wednesday, November 28, 2007 - 10:53 GMT it depends on what size amp u got and how much power? if u got a 400 watt sub and say a jbl 1000 watt amp then it would probably blow really quick.

Thursday, November 29, 2007 - 00:37 GMT depends on the sub.. some really can't handle much more than the RMS rating for daily power.. for burps i'd agree with the above statement

Thursday, November 29, 2007 - 15:24 GMT alot of it has to do with the signal from the amp if u set ur amp where it doesnt clip u might not ever blow subs i ran 2 RF p1 12s (150rms i think) on 400 watts each for about a year and they never blew also if u are in a truck and can get your hand on the subs u can feel them and if they start getting hot just turn em down some

Thursday, November 29, 2007 - 16:12 GMT The odds of blowing your sub up are very good if you make a thread asking it.
