does that also take out some of the stains? i have some stains on there from some chemicals or something. i don't know what it is and i can't get rid of it by washing it.
eagle one aluminum wheel cleaner. then Turtle Wax, or any other good brand name wax. Chrome posish can scratch aluminum wheels. Chrome is acually harder then stainless.
It is probably brake dust stains that have been baked in. Use WD-40 and a brush, rinse with isopropyl alcohol and then put some synthetic polymer wax (like Klasse) on them to prevent brake dust from penetrating the surface. Do NOT use a conventional carnuaba based wax like Turtle, the brake dust will get into the wax and will be even harder to get off. If this doesn't work, sell your car and get a 2001 Pathfinder.
