Bronze Member Username: Sept298901Post Number: 27 Registered: Jul-07 | check out this thread, https://www.ecoustics.com/electronics/forum/car-audio/211069.html that will help you determine the amp rating for your new alternator. the alternator is the most important thing to beef up in my eyes because a battery just takes juice from your alternator when its charging (a large battery is important if you want to play ur system w/ the car off), and a cap wont do a damned thing to help you w/ a 3200 watt amp. i am guessing you probably have between a 70 and a 90 amp alternator if that helps you any as well. |
