what about like a 690 vs a 790 bc i had a 680 but was always told that a 780 was a noticeable difference

You will never notice a difference in SQ between good HUs.


Low quality ones can have distortion on the RCA outputs, ie. dual, boss, etc.

get the 780 or above if you are in to the sound being processed. to me it just didn't sound natural. don't get me wrong, the sq is very nice but just too much processed for my taste.

now with my 680ub, it sound very natural and like the way the music is supposed to be.

remember boys and girls, i have tried both 690 and the 980 and on both my mmats components and the focal utopia components. so you can't say its the speakers. lol.

i am so fukkkkking buzzzed right now it ain't even funny. i don't remember how i got home. lol.

there 880 are suppose to be there sq hu's

the 780 is the little 980..

It really doesnt matter which one you buy...just get one...
