Silver Member Username: Philly306North carolina Post Number: 527 Registered: Apr-07 | are you kiddinng me chris? thats the worst idea ive heard. so you're gonna buy a 280 dollar sub and throw it in some ebay prefab. bad decision man. for that much you can have someone build you a box to the specs of that sub |
Silver Member Username: Cplaya280Quakertown, PA USA Post Number: 760 Registered: Oct-05 | thats the thing i dont kno anybody that could build me a box, and i have a 15" l7 right now and i have the same box but the cut out is square instead of circle. |
Silver Member Username: Philly306North carolina Post Number: 528 Registered: Apr-07 | www.fishercustoms.com www.woodlawncabinetry.com ive heard both make great boxes im sure theres guys on the forum that would build the box too |

Gold Member Username: Naledge503Http://com4.runboard.c... Post Number: 2203 Registered: Jun-06 | Everyone said that the Konaki's looked like DD's. But do they perform the same or have the same quality? NO! |
Gold Member Username: HdubbTeam Revolution Post Number: 2832 Registered: Nov-04 | well actually the konakis were a rip off of the 9500 motor. and thats what looks similar to the aq, but none the less im still getting me a hdc12. =) |

Gold Member Username: 420alldaylongPost Number: 2944 Registered: Sep-06 | Does the HDC3 have cooling like the DD's? |
Silver Member Username: BoomtankRochester, NY USA Post Number: 392 Registered: Oct-06 | how low can you safely tune a box for the HDC315 with an Fs of 38hz? isn't it dangerous to tune under the fs? |
Bronze Member Username: DjlPost Number: 96 Registered: Sep-06 | The ts specs were run on brand new subs selected at random with zero break in time. The fs will go down considerably when the sub breaks in. The HDC3 has all the COOLING you will ever need and then some. The sub is designed to play below box tuning without unloading. |

Bronze Member Username: DjlPost Number: 98 Registered: Sep-06 | That's a thought. I might put a little more beef in the 2.5 this coming year.. |
Gold Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 7186 Registered: Jun-04 | ahh you meant that as a joke as I suspected but I figured hey why not ask....and look another idea to improve the audioque 2.5's |
Gold Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 7187 Registered: Jun-04 | "You would do better if I put some chrome on the sub....great score" I gotcha DJ you talk about that on your website LOL |
Bronze Member Username: DjlPost Number: 99 Registered: Sep-06 | I am working on a NEW design for the 2.5's for next year to go along with the new 1200 watt amp. The amps are slated to ship from Korea on Dec 5th. You guys want a preorder on the amp? I don't usually do preorders because most companies use the preorder money to build the product and that leaves a bad taste in my mouth but I've already paid for this production run; the amps are being built now and should be here by Xmas. |
Gold Member Username: 420alldaylongPost Number: 2945 Registered: Sep-06 | DJ Langford Do you have pictures of the new amp? |
Bronze Member Username: DjlPost Number: 100 Registered: Sep-06 | The art work (photos) are being done now. I will post the photos on our website as soon as I get them. You can e-mail me for the specs. |
Silver Member Username: ClouduzPost Number: 232 Registered: Jun-06 | hey i'm still a noob when it comes to subs. Can i get some honest opinions on how much better (SQ & volume) are they than Type R's? will they get much louder? or be about the same level? |
Silver Member Username: Philly306North carolina Post Number: 536 Registered: Apr-07 | type r is more comparable to the sd2.5 the hdc3 lil brother. hdc3s are on a different level than type rs |
Silver Member Username: ClouduzPost Number: 233 Registered: Jun-06 | thanx phil, that's what i thought so the hdc3 is a definite win then umm... one last thing, is a hifonics 1606d when i'm currently using for my R a nice match up. |
