As i read some of the posts on this website i have noticed a lot of people on here know what they are talking about, so i was wondering if someone was able to tell me if this is a good setup before I buy it.

Thanks a lot for any help guys, i really appreciate it.
Def. Don't go with that legacy stuff. 2 15s I'm guessing you just want a loud daily vehicle?
Hifonics 1606 with a loaded Fi BL 15 would be 600, still a bit over budget- but worth it imo. Same amp, 2 kicker CVR 15s would be about $450 to your door, and you could really get the Hifonics 1206 instead and save a bit more. There's plenty of other options, those are just close to your price range. A hifonics 1206 and 4 Fi car audio X series 12's would be a fair match, and run < $500.
How much space do you have to work with, and do you want 2 15s for sure, or would 4 12s fit/work good?
If you want nice clean deep bass I vote for the 1 Fi BL 15 and an amp that will do around 1500 watts. People have mixed feelings on those hifonics amps as far as power output, but its a good product for the money.
