Posted on " ported = louder with less sq sealed = quieter with more sq " NO....... that is a myth. Tune the ported box real low (~30 hz) and it will sound as good as the sealed, with more output. |

Posted on Keep the port smooth, though. Round any edges, and clean up any glue that dribbles down. But, yeah, co-sign on going ported. Some people have said ported sounds better, "more natural", btw. Ported will be more efficient, so you'll need less power. Why CVRs for SQ? |
