Hey guys, I came across this forum by doing searches of "forum reviews" of audio products i was looking to buy. This forum has a lot of people who have knowledge and experience and actually are nice and help to their fullest extent. So I have a question.

I Currently have an Mitsubishi eclipse 2007 with the premium rockford sound system. Looking to up grade it with some other things. I just bought the JL componet XR650-CSi for my fronts and tweets. I also have two JL 12WO series subs and a kicker zr 120 amp. JL's documentation says one sub need between 125-250 watts. Kicker says: ZR120 30 x 2 @ 4ohms
60 x 2 @2ohm
90 x 2 @1ohm
120 4ohm mono bridged
180 2.66 mono bridged
180 2ohm mono bridged

What I would like to have is my one 12' sub in a sealed box give me nice tight bass, at a med to med high level and possibly run the components off the same amp as well. Is this enough power or should i buy an amp to power the sub and use the zr for the components? If so how many channels and how many watts?
I will also in the future but not now buy http://www.crutchfield.com/S-TziM8wbXvIj/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?I=500CDA9886

If the w0's 4 ohms I'd just go with a good quality 4 ch. Use the front 2 ch for the comps and bridge the other two for the sub. Any decent amp around 75-100x4 at 4 should do a good job.
this would be about perfect.

If you really want to use the ZR then another 2 ch that bridges to around 250w should do the trick. You'll probably want to add a dual amp installation kit if you go that route.
here's a real nice 2 ch -

You're going to need a different amp for your sub. That ZR amplifier really doesn't put out enough power to push your sub.Look into a JL 500/1 amplifier because that should be a perfect match for your subs.

What about the off brand JL bought MTA. Would you recommend one of those?

What do you think about these for the price? Will they give me tight bass?

You mean Total Mobile Audio (TMA)?
My nephew had one. Seemed like a pretty solid amp to me.

As for the RF enclosure -- Hard to say - try best buy or CC and see if they have one you can listen to.
In my experience pre-fab loaded enclosures tend to be really boomy and muddy - not much for SQ.
