hey man i got a dd9918 with a fresh recone from dd and comes with the red kevlar cone.....the 9918 is better than a 9518.....i am only wanting 540 shipped for mine..and that's a steal just ask anyone on any forum....it's basically brand new and they retail for 1200 brand new

That is a hell of a deal on that sub.........


DD 99 series = 95 series with better cone. Everything else is exactly the same.

i called dd and i ask about the 9518g and they said 600 something and they got new shirts there too

600 doallers for a brand new 9518....i doubt it..you prolly tlaked to an idiot or someone who misunderstood you...but if it's true you better buy one

Really?New shirts...I wonder if they will have small sizes,I hate wearing "Oversized" mediums that fit like drapes...

Thats a 9518G with paper cone not the composite cone.

yep and 300+ i think he said with a composite cone? and they said today $665 for one b/c there is no one that sell them here?

Jnoel, its not neccicarily better... depends on what he wants SPL\SQL... the 9500 has better SQ then the 9900 i hear

Haha Rob I am in the exact same boat....... except I have gotten so used to mediums that if I wear a shirt that fits tight now it feels weird

You hear wrong...... they should sound the same until you get into really high power levels, the 99 cone holds up better.

i thought its all the same soft parts and diff motor....... i heard this alot.... maybe u heard wrong everyone says the 3500 comes first then the 9500 in sq

Yea...I'm tired of going to the store and only finding shirts in large but since most people are over weight it makes sense to stock larger sizes,too bad the in shape or thin people are being f ucked over,pisses me off.

You got that backwards..... when they used to make the 9900 series, it was a 9500 motor with a composite cone instead of the paper one. They now simply call it the 9500 with "composite cone option".
