Monday, November 05, 2007 - 02:05 GMT Hey. Friend just bought a new truck (funny, its almost like the one I just bought) and has a little more space than I do in back. Hes got bout 7.5" on the bottom and 5" on the top behind his seat... 2000w rms to spend. What are the best two subs to put back there (need two for stereo...)? Thanks.}

Monday, November 05, 2007 - 04:39 GMT " You don't run subs in stereo. You just get cancellation then. " Right. Subs are run in mono no matter how many you have. " why not skipp puting them in the cab putem in the truck bed then you can go big " Probably because that's more work than most people want to do. You need to give us the max space in cu.ft. that he has available. And I'm betting it will only be enough for 1 good sub........

Monday, November 05, 2007 - 06:14 GMT Just tell him what would be an ideal sub for a sealed small enclosure. Give him the best idea u can think of for the smallest enclosure u can think of. No specs just an idea is what hes asking.

Monday, November 05, 2007 - 15:42 GMT Well...considering the dimensions he gave really don't give me a mental picture of what space he has...I can't really recommend anything.Put a 10'' sub in there or maybe two beefy 8'' drivers.

Monday, November 05, 2007 - 22:00 GMT Not sure on the exact measurements. @BEN: Maybe he actually uses his truck for work so has no room for subs back there... I know that's a hard concept to grasp. @PIMP: Thats pretty much what Im trying to figure for him. Just something... probably anything less than 1.5 or 1.25 cu. ft. Thanks.
