OK I found this for sale at my school. This girl is selling it. It's a 10" JL Audio sub, but she doesn't know the model. She said she would throw in the POS Jensen amp too. Does anyone know the model just by looking at it? For $30, can I go wrong no matter the model?
buy it, even if you don't like it you can allways sell it and make your money back, and useally more since its JL, plus you get a free amp. Plus if you buy it the "girl" might give you a BJ or something.

Ya its a JL WO i had the same exact sub it really sucked in that box until i made a ported box for it and it still was eh... then it blew when i gave it 250 rms lol.
well the WO series subs are hard to get rid off cause they are only 125rms i got rid of mine in the same box for 50 bucks and it took me like 5 months to sell it. Not many people like the entry level WO subs if you are just looking for a little bump get it.
I am pretty sure because i had the exact same thing and no other jl sub that i know of comes in that small box. But take it out and take a pic of the magnet its not like shes gonna know you took it out lolol
It could be either a w0, w1 w2 w3 w4 w5 or w6.Definately not the 10Ib4 For the price you cant go wrong..
The w2 and below carries a svc in either 4, 8 or 12 ohms..
w3 and above is equipped with a dvc, with impedances ranging from 2 to 6 ohms..
The more common subs were the w0,w3 and w6..
judging from box size , i would guess that its a w3..
The w3 has a stellar performance and is slightly above entry level.
going down the series W3 to w0, the decreasing rms rating is directly proportional to the efficiency. The opposite is true for the W4 onward to the w6.
Its definately not the w6 as it would require a slightly larger enclosure and they are usually bought in three's, wired in series to give a 4 ohm load or in parallel to a 1 ohm load.
They're the loudest and cleanest of the series mentioned and handle around 400w rms...
Ben u cannot go wrong with either the W0 or W3 for that price. With 125-250 watts rms, you'll be thumping. Go on Buy it...
