Bronze Member Username: Ward2400Post Number: 31 Registered: May-06 | Relatively new to car audio and would greatly appreciate any help/advice with the following: I have the following in a 97 Saab 900 Conv. Alpine CDA-9883 HU JL TR650 - CXi (rears) JL TR350 - CXi (dash) I am thinking about adding a pair of TR650s in the doors and a 4 channel amp. How would I (or should I) use the new door speakers with the existing 3.5 inch dash speakers? Any suggestions on a amp in the $200-$300 raneg would also be appreciated. |

I would either look for a 5 channel or a 3 and a 2 channel one. Hope that helps somewhat. I don't know many 3 or 5 channel amps offhand, but I see you like JL stuff and I know JL makes at least one. It may be a little above your budget, but you could probably pick up a used one or another company's one. Hope that helps. |

Would there be any value in a 6 channel amp like the JL A6450. http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_amps.php?amp_id=403 I could run each speaker off its own channel and then use the small dash speakers for the highs by setting the filter freq???? Does this make any sense? |
