Man, I worked a few extra shifts at work last week hoping to get enough money for my amp but im $30 short! Now I need to wait a whole week before I get more cash flow...
that's why I buy high end stuff. costs more, takes longer to save up, yes. Also tends to last me for ten or more years before I feel a need to upgrade, instead of buying entry to mid grade gear every year or two as the prices for technology drop each year.
My head unit and DSP are fairly new. My speakers are about 5 years old now My amps are circa 1991 everything still works great.
its difficult to kill any of the older made more durable stuff unless u connect by mistake a power to a _ connection & vice versa ...older sh1t is built tough like some of those 50yr old cars still on the road today ......
