can someone use a program to find the proper box dimensions for (1) Apline SWR 1241D sub.
i want it to be clear sounding, so im not sure how these speakers perform in ported or sealed boxes.. and bandpass boxes might be a lil too big.
i'd appreciate it if someone made me the proper blue prints or possible a picture in photoshop of the speaker box dimensions.
i used WinISD but i recieved a box volume of 2.52 ft^3. i've read on a site that someone emailed Alpine and recieved notice that the recomended vented volume is 1.25 ft^3. can someone tell me what i should use?
i will be using a whole alpine component system with (2) 6x9's,(2) 6 1/2's , and (2) tweets with alpine 9807 deck, so i was wondering if someone can get the dimensions so that it would sound good with the whole system.
95 Civic coupe by the way... just incase that matters when choosing tuning freq.
