Tuesday, October 16, 2007 - 21:39 GMT So I gave in and decided to give eD a chance. I preordered the new 13Av.2 and it should arrive early December. I know the people at eD's forum are nuts for their product, but the closest comparison I have heard is the 12W7. I figure, if it is anything like it for half the price, I will be quite pleased. I will match this to a t5001bd putting out a little over 1000RMS. This thing just looks impressive to me. 13" subwoofer 10" mounting depth 1200RMS 28.75mm x-max 59lbs I don't know. I am excited. Any opinions? I think I'll put it in a 2.0cuft box @ 30hz.

Tuesday, October 16, 2007 - 21:47 GMT there nice subs, comparable to a w7? hmm to me that would be an overstatement, but still a nice sub you should be happy with it.

Tuesday, October 16, 2007 - 21:48 GMT Yeah I don't expect it to be the W7...but if it's even comparable at all I will be happy.

Tuesday, October 16, 2007 - 21:54 GMT it 13inchs outside diameter, so the cone is an acutall 12inches.

Tuesday, October 16, 2007 - 22:48 GMT Dope, I can't wait to hear what you have to say about it. I've been tossing around many setups for when I buy my Mom's Grand Cherokee, and 4 of those was one of them.

Tuesday, October 16, 2007 - 21:44 GMT Yeah I will definitely let you know. I can't wait to try it out. Too bad I'll be waiting for it for a while. Just as a little tease to anyone who is actually reading my thread, I will have to let my two 8" SS Rli go in a couple months and will come here first, then over to CA.com

Wednesday, October 17, 2007 - 00:42 GMT Damn that things got a thick surround. It's probably got about the same cone area as a 12" sub due to that...

Wednesday, October 17, 2007 - 14:45 GMT I'm going to need to figure out how to secure the thing. I'm guessing maybe the same old screws might not cut it.
