What Amp for Alpine Type X

I am buying a 12" or 10" alpine type x..just one of them.. they are 1000 watts rms dual 4 ohm voice coil, i can get a kx1200.1 amp off a guy for 300, or an infinity 1300 watt rms amp off a guy for 375,

the kx1200.1 is only 300 watts rms at 4 ohm, and the infinity is like 850 at 4 ohm, waht im asking is which one do i get, because i dont know wwhat impendence my sub is?
and whats better the kicker or infinity?

Subs are dual 4ohm so you'll b runnin em at 2ohm..find an amp that does wat ur wantin at 2ohms...

Yes it will, but a zx1000.1 would be cheaper.

but that will only run at like 500 watts rms, and im gettin the jl1000/1 for 500 bucks

the zx1000.1 will do 1000+rms at 2 ohms....which is what your dual 4 ohm sub should be wired at

they need more power than that... trust me... they are power hungry subs but they sound nice not loud... but power hungry... get a 2k rms amp
