i have a chance at getting (2) new Kicker 15" L5 dvc 4ohm subs at a ridiculously low price...first off...is it worth going with the L5s...or spend a little extra for the L7s...i hear the difference isn't "that large" other than the price...wired in parallel @ 1ohm...so the RMS needs to be 1500w-2000w+

below are a few amps that ive found around $300 which is where i would 'prefer' to stay...SPL is the goal...im not concerned with brand names and what not just something worth while...i just like the noise (techno/rap)

Audiobahn A1500HCT
HIFONICS BXI2006D
POWER ACOUSTIK SL-2600D or OV1-4000D

additionally...ive found a handful of sub enclosure calculators and what not...some direction to the "best" either calculator/designer/fabricator would be much appreciated...

let me know please...ill take any advice people are willing to give...

L7s are superior. depends on the price difference.

first b4 anything else, 1500wrms is going to require an electrical system upgrade in your car. really any power over 1000-1200wrms will.

personally I wouldn't want any of the solobarics, but if I had to choose, go with the L7. They are built better than the L5 by a big margin.
Use ported enclosures, built to Kicker's specs.

CVX is greater SQ wise than the L7 and gets just as loud...

is that accurate?
