JL Audio 1000/1...Will the 12w7 be good with it???

New member Username: Schmidtyy206Post Number: 1 Registered: Sep-07 | I have a JL Audio 1000/1 amplifier and trying to figure out what subwoofer will go best with it? Will one 12w7 be good with it? or the 13w7? I know that the 12w7 runs at 3 ohms which is louder than the 13w7 becuase the 13w7 runs at 1.5 ohms. Also what is a cap? should i get one? What does it do and where can i get it? Thanks anyone for the help in advance. |

In your case you will want to wire it to a 1.5ohm load. Silver Member Username: 2pacalypse1971Sandusky, Oh Post Number: 424 Registered: Jul-05 | them subs aren't dual voice coils, i think they are all single 3 ohm, so no matter what you do your goin to have a 3 ohm load unless you get 2 and knock it down to 1.5, but it really doesn't matter what ohm it is at with that amp |
