1 wire from battery negative to chassis
1 wire from battery positive to alternator
1 wire from motor to chassis

go with at least 4 gauge when doing this. i would suggest doing it 2/0 ga or even 1/0 ga. then if you ever decide to upgrade amplifiers etc this one less thing you'll have to do

i'm doin 1/0 ga and 1 ext batt for a kicker zx1500 for my 18" Q :-)

oh and it just depends on where everything is. if your alternator is near your battery or at least visible with the hood open, (fu*king saturn) then it should be a snap.

i'm looking forward to doing a wonderful big 3 on my girlfriends car. i can't even see the alternator. i think this is because geniuses at saturn decided it should be on the bottom of the motor

an extra battery is a waste of time and money with only 1500 rms
