Gold Member Username: Van_manBoston South, MA Post Number: 2881 Registered: Mar-06 | sorry. i have no tips. I had my 12 in a JL spec ported box and it sounded very nice. Good output. clean tite bass. I have the 13 in a "woofertool" spec box, which is larger then the JL spec, but sounds very good. I had hopes of finding a HO box plan, or something similar for the 13, but may wait till I find another sub first. I am also on the look out for a 12W7, or a 13 W7. So in a nut shell. I want either 2-12w6's, 2-13w6's or a single W7 12 or 13 It all depends if I sell my 12 and 13 first, or buy another 12 -13 first. So in short to your question, I have no clue. In general, sealed and ported dont make a hell of a big diffrence when it comes to the SQ of the W6, but ported may help overall output, but I have not run sealed so idk. |
