I don't know why I was thinking about this, but what would happen if you covered an enclosure all in Dynamat, or something similar? Would it act the same as if was lined all in the trunk?
puttin dynamat in an enclosure has been done but it seems now a days people like to fiberglass the inside. for one it would cover any uneven corners/edges that may allow air to leak out and i believe i heard that you may get a few dbs or so
Well, I was already going to completely go over my trunk in Dynamat, but I was just curious about going over the enclosure because it would sure save a hell of a lot of money if it worked
first of all the world might explode if u did that. and second i dont think it would work because your trunk would still be able to vibrate. because there is no dynamat in the trunk just around the box.
What would happen if I sound deadened my entire vehicle?It would sound super sick and my vehicle would no longer sound like it was exploding.I'd also be around 500 bucks lighter and days gone from my life.
