I am looking to get a new setup in the next few months for my 1997 honda civic lx, any way i would like a single 12 or 15 that would get fairly loud on about 400rms i think i am going to buy a kicker 400.1 so it would be 400rms at 2 ohms i would be willing to build my own box so whatever kinda box(ported or sealed) wouldnt bother me to much, the price limit is like 170ish depending on what it is but that is what i have for now......... thanks for looking and for the help

audioque sd2.5 12" or 15". Rated for 500rms will do great on just 400 rms. Had a pair of 12's on 400 rms each and were louder to my ears and sounded better than my cvx's that were on 750 rms each.

15" RD Audio Classic

Wouldn't get an Fi SSD, you would be underpowering it by quite a bit. DD subs are great, very durable, very well built. I can't speak for that particular series because I've only heard the higher end lines.
