Thursday, September 06, 2007 - 04:40 GMT The phase shift switch allows you to select 0 or 180 degrees. The phase shift switch can be used to prevent phase cancellation of low frequencies that are output by the subwoofer. Matching the phase of your subwoofers with the phase of other speakers in your system ensures bass response does not suffer due to phase cancellation.

Thursday, September 06, 2007 - 05:42 GMT It could make it sound better depending on some things like the response of your system and what enclosure you are using on your subs.

Thursday, September 06, 2007 - 12:57 GMT "lolz dont base it off that some product are good while other aer VERY shaky....not sure on what it does tho lol" with company like audiobahn making crappy subs, speakers, amps, and pretty much everything else, what are the chances of them making good phase shifters common sense
