On to some pictures.
4cuft tuned to 40hz (designed by drivingreckless)
Amp rack we made. I have plans on flush mounting the amps that way I don't have to run wires under the mdf board and such.
We ran the RCA's on the passenger side right under the passenger seats. His power cable is going to be runned under the car. So there shouldn't be any noise.
Headunit installed.
I'll have an update this Wednesday. He's helping with the install so things should go by faster.
yeah stock electrical. Hes not a big bass head like me. Since me and him have the same job position, he can go louder if he wanted to. He has $$$ but I let him sit in my car, told him to turn up the volume knob and tell me when it was loud enough. And he only turned it up a little bit and he was like thats good enough right there and I was like, 1000rms will get you that loud and maybe louder. So 1000rms is good enough for him. If anything, I'll tell him to get a zx2500.1 later in the future with minor electrical upgrades.
Ahhh.. they all have such a similar interior- that looks just like my 99 yukon did. I like the late 90s interiors better than the newer ones. Keep up the good work!
Yeah, I have a 99 Yukon so I pretty much knew the layout of the car. Hes pretty lucky, considering that labor is free and all he has to pay for is supplies and equipment. But maybe he'll throw something at me like a $100 bucks at the end .
Ok heres an update. Carpeted the amp rack, ran the power wire (with grommet), ran the speaker wire, hooked up the components, hooked up the amps, crossovers, etc etc. W/e you see in the pictures is what we did. Everything is in the car besides the sub/box and the components do sound awesome for $50 dollars! PG ZR's ftw.
Yeah Rob they really do. Everything from the midrange to the higher frequencies do sound awesome. I was really impressed with its fast response. And they shake his doors up a good amount. Anyways, thanks for bringing up about the PG ZR's. Because for $50, I don't know what can come close to its performance.
