Most boxes i see are square-like(with the slant) or rectangular. I have a single cab pickup and was wondering if i make a box that is extra long to get the 1.25 cu ft i need, will it sound the same as my 1.25 cu ft cube-like box?

Yes, the shape of an
enclosure
does matter. In your case, you probably wont notice.
