just wondering how i could maximize my output from a trunk system. i've got a speaker in the rear deck and a a fold down armrest that opens to the trunk but neither seemed to do much.

i had my old arsenal in my backseat and let me just remind those with suv's and hatches how lucky you are, lol.

I cut a hole in my GTO's rear deck, and it did improve the level of bass but you'll want to dynamat the trunk(if its not already done). I never did any sound deadening in mine and the mufflers and rattling/vibrating metal was hell. The metal shelf part of the rear deck usually has holes in it already, you might try just taking off all the underlayment material off the shelf.

I feel you, i have a cavalier, but atleast my seats fold down. Sounds like sh!t with them up, but my box is so big that not much air can get through anyway. Still get too much rattle.I took off the carpet over the back dash and that helped a lil, but looks like azz.

Wait until I have to cut that foam to get that box out! When I do it will look like this box was the mold, it will have an opening just big for the new box to fit, foam fit. The best thing is I can fill with epoxy and fiberglass make it look neater and hopefully finish up. This way in the future if I want to change box designs all I have to do is unbolt, pullout and place new in...Polo
