Looking to replace my 2 Kappa Perfect 12.1

I have 2 Kappa Perfect 12.1 which I bought a couple years ago. My new car's trunk isn't as large as my previous suv, so I am going to be replacing them with a single 12. I have an Orion HCCA 250 that pumps out 800w @ 1ohm, but I need a sub to match it. I'm really into sound quality but I like them to get loud and low. I've heard great things about some Eclipse stuff, but I need some suggestions. Looking to spend between 150-300 for one(large range I know, but I want to see my options).

Thanks

What kind of box would you recommend for the Eclipse? Also, is there going to be much difference from my Perfects to the TI?

Just checked, having trouble finding Eclipse Ti for sale, anyone know a good site with good prices?

ALso, how loud is the idmax going to be compared to the 2 perfects? one thing i didn't like was that I wish they'd get a little louder and lower. Will the idmax do this?

Sorry about the multi posts, but I see the D2 is only rated at 400rms, would pushing 800@1ohm really be a smart idea?

the idmax is rated at 1000wrms, it would make a great sq sub, and probally be just as loud if not a little louder than the perfects, might also wanna check out AA arsenal, mmats dreadnaught, re se, rl-p, to name a few.

kowing that you like the perfects and me having heard the 10's I seriously doubt youll want to check out the subs mentioned by dustin your definatley an sq guy predominately and the fact you said you wanted it loud and low id say idmax 12 all the way and they dont need huge boxes....they might cost more than you wanted to spend but well worth buying

Sean, you think sealed or ported for this sub? How does some CDT Sl-61 comps with 125w to each sound as company?
