Bronze Member Username: Mateao234Post Number: 58 Registered: Aug-06 | Ok, here is my question, i have a crappy soundstorm amp pushing 2 15" volfenhags(dont want crap about the system its just a cheap temporary setup). the subs take 600 watts ea so thats 1200w total. the amp says it pushes 1500w at 1 ohm but i know its not true, its got 2 40 amp fuses on it so its pushing about 1000w. now how can i tell my amp is clipping, because i want to get all i can get out of it without clipping. i dont have an o scope or ne thing just a simply way to tell. im not so great at hearing distortion either unless it is bad. |
