as it says - which should make most use of the amp

using 1 single sub - looking at 1 10" to use least space

http://www.ddaudio.com/dd/default.asp

3500
Power Handling RMS/Peak 1200/4800

9500
Power Handling RMS/Peak 1500/6000

now every sub if u know what ur doing will handle alot more than rated like yesterday i had an estimated 1200 wrms going to a pair of pioneer 10" each rated 350wrms
& with DD i have no doubt they can handle double rec wrms so maybe the 3510 might make the most use of my amp !?...

thanks guys but i should have mentioned that my charging system is not on par in fact i dont have a ho alt & my stock is 80A & i have 2 yellowtops so most of the time my current will be around 12-12.5v when system is in swing ,there4 i estimate i may be getting closer to 2000wrms @ 12v

also in my country we have a local dd dealer about 45 mins away & i always wanted a dd - its going to replace my 4 10s pioneer since i want to occupy les space & go up against some 12" subs here in friendly comp .....

3500 is actually 1800 on music. so either 35 or 95 can handle that if u do it smoart w/ the 35

wow - every1 is advising the 9510 when i judging from the specs was leaning more toward the 3510 because of

3500
Power Handling RMS/Peak 1200/4800 ....i was thinking it would make most efficient output of my roughly 1800-2000wrms ........

read back above

""but i should have mentioned that my charging system is not on par in fact i dont have a ho alt & my stock is 80A & i have 2 yellowtops so most of the time my current will be around 12-12.5v when system is in swing ,there4 i estimate i may be getting closer to 2000wrms @ 12v """

maybe i should goo all out & get the 9510 since i can always upgrade the amp if need arises ....

If you're not going to feed at least 3krms run a 3500 but if you plan on 3k and above run a 9515.

well im thinking i might as well spend the $ & go all out with the 9510 & possibly upgrade the amp in the future rather than regret buy 2nd best series ...have until wk end to make up my mind .....

oh btw - playing music on it is my no1 priority however if i feel the need to prove its loudness on a meter i would like to think im very confident the sub can perform there as well too since i plan on using 3 4" aeroports on it so i can easily switch port lengths for either purpose or event .....

Not to mention Rovin knows what he's doing and won't abuse it or clip it.Just be responsible and I think you'll be fine.

I forgot to mention about box design and it's effects on power handling that's also a big factor in this that you shouldn't leave out but like I said Rovin, you know what you're doing.

Of course it can handle it thermally,it's the same voice coil that a 9500 series has.I would only worry about the mechanical parts.

thanks Rob - somehow im thinking since its 1 sub & 1 expense ,might as well live large & get the better 9510 rather than thinking what "if i had only gotten the bigger 1"....

The 9510 might not be as loud as a 3510 on that power.
