Monday, August 27, 2007 - 03:06 GMT Personally I am a fan of the threaded rod and wing nuts on each side but to each his own. Direct connection is a preferred method by many.

Monday, August 27, 2007 - 03:13 GMT I agree. Just how much signal loss is due to the terminal connection? Is it really noticable? Really????!!!! I'm thinking not!

Monday, August 27, 2007 - 03:50 GMT You can get those terminals at Lowes...use use a bolt to mount them. The is 8ga wire in them. I wired each VC to its own terminals...that way I can change the wiring from outside the box.

Monday, August 27, 2007 - 05:44 GMT "thats tight seems like a really good idea but would you really use it? i don't exactly plan on changing the wiring for my sub ever" i do. i run my subwoofers at 4 ohm and 1 ohm for a slightly nicer sound. it balances everything out abit more like that... it literally takes me less than 1 minute to change it from 1 to 4 ohm. and canaan, do you know the specific name for that type of terminals. ive tried to find them in brass. i think they would look sweet brass with brass allen head set screws...
