damnn straight my books cost about $100 each, thankfuly i only have 3, and then all they are is "rented" so at the end of the school year you have to give them back WTF.
i do what notorious does....most my friends just buy the book and throw it somewhere in the room. i ask to "borrow" it but usually keep if for the semester and then give it back haha
What really pisses you off is when one or several of your "required" reading books just so happens to be written by your professor. As if these guys don't get paid enough......
Do what I used to do when I had no money. Go borrow a friend's book and PHOTOCOPY! Yah baby! The only downside is, getting cramps on your legs, arms and back from flipping so many pages.
my books came up to $413 but I am going to skool for Electrical/Electronics Tech. and I am getting 1200 back so I am going for a huge upgrade (subs, amps, battery)
well today was my first day, and all i can say is damnn college is gonna be hard, the first day and allready we had to write an essay and do a online questionair thing, and thats only one class but on the upside there are sh1t loads apon sh1t loads of hot chicks everywhere OMG.
I don't know about that sh1t loads of hot chicks thing yet, cause we don't start until next monday. Kinda lame cause I'm bored and have nothing to do until then. I'm the type of person that likes to stay mildly busy.
agreed about the hot chicks... everywhere if you're in the right classes.
i don't even go to class for most, unless it's absolutely mandatory... i just read the textbook a couple days before the test and i'm good. 3.6 last year (freshman year)
Yeah books are insane, I finished 4yrs of college and have my BBA with my Major Marketing, and I spent around $3,000 on just books in around $25-$30,000 in total in Canada. Worked at Tim Hortons to pay for all that...lol
lol yeah, so many ppl believe that if you go to college, you're guarenteed a badass job without even having to work for it... well they're in for a kick
