Which sub should i get??

12" kicker L5 or a 12" alpine type-r....both same price, which will get louder and opbvioulsy the type-r will sound better clarity wise, i only wanna know out of these 2 subs so please do not give me more suggestions its for a buddy

just kidding, kicker L5 will get louder for about a month, until it breaks, and then the type r will be louder

L5 will get louder but id get the type-r. actually i wouldnt get either. but for louder,out of the 2,L5.

L5 would be louder but i wouldnt spend my money on it. Rather bump my 6 1/2's.

do the alpine and install it well and you wont need a l5.....so my vote is the alpine typ r 12....then he wont have a blown L5 sub

L5 for louder setup

Type-R for SQ, durability, better, less liklyness of blowing

i would chose the type-r but you should try and convince him to get something besides the 2 of those.
