its jus a basic settin on my eclipse cd5000, its with the subwoofer level. i have it on 5, and it goes to 10 i think. its waay louder, but i still dont know what it means.
Source Volume Controls (SVC): Because the level of each source can vary greatly, the Source Volume Controls allow you to raise or lower the volume of AM radio, CD, and Memory Stick audio compared to the FM radio signal. The volume differences can be set within a range of -10 to +20.
All it is for is when you play sources other than FM radio and switch back to FM it isn't blasting. I think I remember that you don't even listen to radio (I never do either) so just turn it off. The less circuitry between the source and the output the better.
